As you may or may not know, this is the fourth and final part of the #SinSeries, following Parts OneTwo, and Three, all of which have enlightened and helped you, my readers, to re-evaluate your beauty routines and stop committing the sins that work against it. This will be the final chance for anyone who would have wanted to participate in the #SinSeries competition to enter the draw one last time! Remember, if you comment with a confession in the comments section below, you will be nominate to win a little gift from my makeup studio, so, read on and participate, I'm about to give you the last list of sins I'm pretty sure you've come across before...

  1. Over-Tweezing

I've spoken out before about my distaste for tattooed brows, but the truth is, over-tweezed brows can be just as unnatural and distasteful. I've come across a lot of ladies in the past who have made this mistake. If you're tweezing at home, sometimes you might tend to over-do it and end up with too-thin brows with high arches. Not only does that look unnatural and completely un-flattering to your natural facial structure, but it's completely daunting to have to wait for it to grow back. I always say that you should only clean your brows at home, which means just pluck out any stray hairs that don't look good, but it's always a good idea to get your brows tweezed at a beautician's parlor, and always mention: I want a natural brow with a natural arch that follows the shape of my eye bone! You can definitely read my Brow Talk blog to learn about brow care! Tweezerman is a great and reliable brand for your brow care basics.

  1. Over-Shaving

You need to be very careful about this one, it can be pretty tricky. There is never a right or wrong way to shave, but if it's causing any form of irritation to shave every day, then you might have to consider doing so less often. You also need to know that shaving body hair that often can get the hairs to grow back thicker. In this case, you can always opt for waxing instead, it leaves skin very smooth and it takes the hairs longer to grow back! It's really up to you, you know your body!

The Philips Laser Hair Removal IPL is a great option for getting rid of unwanted body hairs. It also prevents regrowth, which is amazing. It's safe and effective but needs some time, so be patient!
